For more than two years of operation, Diia.Engine has become a powerful tool for Ukraine’s digitalization: government agencies now create and modernize registers several times faster and cheaper than before.
Today, 23 government agencies, including 11 ministries, use the platform. There are 32 registries already operating on Diia.Engine, and 31 more are being prepared for launch.
More and more registries
Among the registers and systems that are already in operation:
- Register of damaged and destroyed property (Ministry of Community and Territorial Development);
- Register of medical devices, medical cannabis accounting system (Ministry of Health);
- Register of the temporarily occupied territories (Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories);
- Register of pets (Ministry of Agrarian Policy).
Diia.Engine significantly speeds up the creation of digital services and registries – development on the platform costs half as much and is 2-3 times faster than classic development from scratch. This is made possible by the use of a low-code approach that allows you to create registries without involving large development teams.

The development of the Diia.Engine Platform concept, the deployment of the first registers, and further implementation were supported by the European Union under the EU4DigitalUA and DT4UA projects implemented by the Estonian E-Governance Academy.
The Diia.Engine platform was modernized as part of the project “Good Governance through GovTech and Transparency in Ukraine” implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH on behalf of the German government.
Further modernization of the Diia.Engine Platform and support for the Competence Center is supported by the Digital Transformation Support Project, funded by USAID and UK Dev. The project partner is the East Europe Foundation.
