Google plans to launch the Pixel 9 series of smartphones on August 13. However, thanks to a new leak, we can take a closer look at the design and color options of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. The images come from leaker @MysteryLupin, which you can see below.
Pixel 9
As in previous leaks, the renders show a flat design with a camera island that is no longer connected to the bezel. All models are equipped with front cameras with a center hole.
Pixel 9 Pro
The standard Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro have a single pill-shaped camera cutout on the back, while the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has two of the same cutouts. The standard Pixel 9 still offers a dual camera setup on the back. The Pixel 9 Pro Fold also has a triple camera on the back, just like the Pixel 9 Pro.
Pixel 9 Pro Fold
The Pixel 9 may offer a 6.3-inch ‘Actua’ display, which is slightly larger than its predecessor’s 6.2-inch display. The main camera and ultra-wide-angle module reportedly boast 50-megapixel and 48-megapixel sensors, respectively. For context, the ultra-wide-angle camera has been improved from 12MP. The phone uses a 10.5-megapixel selfie camera, just like its predecessor. At the moment, there is no more reliable information about the sensors.
While the renders show a total of three models, according to previous rumors, there will be four models in the Pixel 9 series – Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Speaking of performance, the series will be powered by the Tensor G4 chipset, which is said to have only minor improvements over last year’s Tensor G3.
