Allo Marketplace analyzed the demand in the Lighting category. In the first 9 months of this year, sales in units increased 10 times compared to the same period in 2023. Among the most popular products in the category in January-September 2024 were lamps with batteries, including table lamps, LED bulbs, and autonomous spotlights with solar panels.
Since these were the lamps that illuminated the homes of Ukrainians during long power outages in spring and summer, they were in high demand from April to August.
EUROLAMP – a new product charged with light
Allo has now expanded its range of rechargeable lamps, with the latest addition being the EUROLAMP lamp (10 W, 1200 mAh, 4500 K, E27), which costs only 188 UAH instead of 249 UAH. When there is a power supply, it works like a regular light bulb and charges the built-in battery, and when there is no power supply, it continues to shine as backup lighting.
It works autonomously for up to 8 hours, as the battery has a capacity of 1200 mAh. LED lamps with a rechargeable battery
Battery-powered LED lamps, which continue to illuminate a room despite a power outage, have become one of the most popular products on the marketplace due to their versatility in use. One third of all purchases were made in Kyiv, more than 10% in Dnipro, and other leading cities are Lviv, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa. 85% of customers conveniently made their purchases online, while 15% bought them in chain stores.
Among the customers, 65% are men and 35% are women, mostly aged 30-50. Since the beginning of the year, customers have redeemed almost 200,000 Allo Cash when purchasing LED lights, making their purchases even more profitable thanks to the Allo Cash loyalty program.
