The hit gaming franchise Call of Duty and the popular Netflix show Squid Game have teamed up to create some sort of game mode dedicated to the latter’s second season.
We don’t know exactly what this partnership is, but it looks like it will be a game mode for Black Ops 6 and Warzone. There is a trailer, but it lacks any real details.
We know that we don’t have long to wait. The description under the trailer states that “Squid Game will appear in Call of Duty this January”. This makes sense considering that the second season of the series on Netflix is coming out on December 26.
Perhaps players will enter the title game “Squid” with a full arsenal of modern weapons. Or maybe we will play as psychopathic guards who shoot desperate opponents with reckless abandon. Either way, we’ll find out next month.
