ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra has appeared at Bluetooth SIG

ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra has been spotted online again, indicating its imminent launch. Previously, the smartphone was spotted in the IMEI database, and now 91mobiles has found it in the Bluetooth SIG listing along with the ROG Phone 9 line. Since it is the same model number, there is speculation that this device is the Zenfone 12 Ultra.

ASUS has only released the Zenfone 11 Ultra this year, so it’s likely that this model will receive an update.

When will the Zenfone 12 Ultra launch?

The Bluetooth SIG did not reveal any other details, but it suggests that the brand is preparing to launch the phone in the near future. However, the Zenfone 12 Ultra might be a few months away from launch, as its predecessor also only debuted in March this year.

The launch came after rumors surfaced that ASUS was shutting down the Zenfone line, but the brand quickly cleared the air, saying it was continuing its smartphone series.

ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra: what to expect

The Zenfone 12 Ultra is expected to feature similar hardware as the ROG Phone 9, which is confirmed to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

This could be true as the Zenfone 11 Ultra also launched with similar specs as the ROG Phone 8. If this is the case, then we can expect the new Zenfone to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

The Zenfone 12 Ultra is also expected to feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ display with a 185Hz refresh rate, a 50MP+13MP+8MP triple rear camera setup, and a 32MP front camera.

These are just assumptions based on leaks and rumors about ROG Phone 9. Once the phone debuts, we’ll have a better idea of what to expect from the Zenfone 12 Ultra.
