A user of the Kyivstar network is dissatisfied with his transition to a contract connection, where funds are constantly being withdrawn even without using communication and services.
“I had an advance payment of 175 UAH per month. The advantage was that you could top up the number whenever you wanted and then use the tariff for the next 4 weeks. Over the past two years, I have rarely used the tariff, maybe 5 times at most,” Alex writes. -“But I was not satisfied with the price and the amount of GB. I went to My Kyivstar, saw 3 contracts and chose the first Love UA Base for 75 UAH. This was my main mistake. The document is as simple as possible and did not reveal all the pitfalls (or I am blind).”
It was only a few months after starting to use it that the subscriber noticed:
- The tariff expires at the end of the month, regardless of when the deposit was made.
- Automatic connection of a “credit” in the application. Fortunately, this can be disabled.
- Even if you don’t use the tariff, you still withdraw money every day, which at the end of the month will be equal to the tariff price. That is, in fact, you will pay every month, whether you want to or not.
- As it turned out, they will ask for 100 hryvnias to cancel the contract. And this is despite the fact that you may have already paid UAH 75/175 or more for not using the service.
After contacting the support service to terminate the contract, they replied that I needed to bring my documents with me and go to the store.
“I mean… They came up with and did everything so that a person could connect a contract in 1 click using Diia and for free. But to terminate it, they didn’t do that, you have to come to the store in person with the documents and pay more. Can you smell the stench?” – says a dissatisfied customer.
However, he managed to get out of the predicament by temporarily disabling the number with the ability to receive incoming calls and SMS.
