Key features of the Realme 12+ 5G were revealed

Realme is preparing to launch the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ smartphones on January 29 worldwide. The model numbers of the global and Chinese versions of both smartphones have now been revealed. The recently spotted SIRIM certification suggests that the brand is also working on a series of Realme 12 smartphones. Here are the new details that have emerged about the new device.

Realme 12+ 5G launch is imminent

As you can see in the screenshot above, the Malaysian certification platform has approved a new Realme device, which is identified by the model number RMX3867. The listing confirms that the device will be called the Realme 12+ 5G when it hits the Malaysian market.

The arrival of the Realme 12+ 5G seems inevitable, as it has been previously spotted on other certification platforms such as Indonesia’s TKDN and SDPPI, as well as the FCC. The latter has revealed only a few details, such as that it will run on Realme UI 5 and have features such as 5G, dual SIM, and NFC.

The CameraV5 listing indicates that the Realme 12+ 5G will have a 16-megapixel front camera, and its rear panel will feature a dual system with 64-megapixel + 8-megapixel cameras. Other details of the device are kept secret.

Last week, the Realme phone with the model number RMX3866 was approved by the Chinese certification platform 3C. The listing revealed that the device can support 67W fast charging. It is likely that RMX3866 is the Chinese variant of the Realme 12+ 5G.

Since the Realme 12+ 5G has a lot of certifications, it seems that it won’t take long for it to reveal its secret. It remains to be seen if it will be officially unveiled along with the Realme 12 Pro series on January 29 worldwide.
