Kyivstar has almost restored communication after a large-scale cyberattack. In the near future, subscribers will be able to access the mobile Internet again.
The company’s president, Oleksandr Komarov, said this during a telethon, RBC-Ukraine reports.
“Fixed Internet services for homes have been fully restored. This is about 1 million households across Ukraine. Voice services have also been restored by almost 99%. We are just now finishing the last geography, which is the right bank of the Dnipro River in Kyiv,” Komarov said.

He confirmed that the company failed to restore mobile Internet as planned. The service was expected to be restored on December 14 at night.
“Unfortunately, we are not restoring services yet. However, we hope that this afternoon we will start restoring from western Ukraine, region by region, and carefully start restoring mobile Internet services,” added the head of Kyivstar.
