Earlier today, OnePlus announced that it will launch the OnePlus 12 in China on December 5. The brand also gave us the first official look at the upcoming flagship of the numbered series. OnePlus has also posted a teaser on its official Weibo page that reveals the next-generation RAM and storage capacity. The company has now created a dedicated OnePlus 12 page on its official website in global markets.
OnePlus 12 global launch confirmed
The OnePlus 12 microsite does not disclose the launch date of the smartphone in global markets. However, it confirms that the device will be available in green color, which has a marble pattern. The camera module, which comes in the form of a half-tablet, contains three sensors, including a periscope lens. The phone has a thin profile. OnePlus is likely to tease the key characteristics and features of the upcoming flagship on a special page, as well as on the company’s social media.
Earlier, one of the insiders said that OnePlus 12 could debut in international markets in January 2024. It is worth reminding that the predecessor of the upcoming novelty, i.e. OnePlus 11, was introduced to the global market in February this year.
In other news, OnePlus shared on Weibo that the OnePlus 12 will feature 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It has already been confirmed that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Other features of the upcoming flagship include a 6.8-inch BOE X1 display with a 2K resolution and 2600 nits of peak brightness, a Sony LYT 808 main camera and a HyperTone camera system.
