ASUS is preparing to unveil its next line of gaming smartphones – ROG Phone 8, Phone 8 Pro, and Phone 8 Ultimate. Recently, a variant with 16 GB of RAM appeared in the Geekbench database. Today, the MySmartPrice team spotted a possible ROG Phone 8 Ultimate with the model number ASUS_AI2401_D on the same platform.
The latest entry in the Geekbench database confirms Android 14, 24 GB of RAM, and the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Moreover, the alleged ROG Phone 8 Ultimate scored 2235 points in the single-core test and 7098 points in the multi-core test in the Geekbench database. The smartphone has also recently appeared on the 3C certification website, confirming that the upcoming ROG Phone 8 Ultimate will support 65W fast charging.
The upcoming ROG Phone 8 series is supposed to be the successor to the ROG Phone 7 line. As a reminder, ROG Phone 7 made its debut in April this year and was represented by two devices: ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate. Both ASUS ROG Phone 7 and ROG Phone 7 Ultimate feature a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2448 pixels, HDR10+ support, and an impressive 165Hz refresh rate.
These smartphones are powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, have up to 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage and run Android 13 right out of the box. Also they feature a 50MP triple camera, a 32MP selfie camera, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. In addition, both devices are equipped with a reliable 6,000 mAh battery that supports 65W fast charging.
