MaiCong has officially opened pre-orders for its new K87 V3 mechanical keyboard, with sales set to begin on October 29th at 8:00 PM across all platforms. This highly anticipated keyboard comes in two models, priced at 289 yuan and 339 yuan respectively.
Innovative Features for Enhanced Experience
The K87 V3 boasts an 87-key layout, a popular choice for users who want a balance between a full-sized keyboard and a more compact design. The keycaps are crafted from PBT material using a double-shot injection process, ensuring durability and resistance to shine. Adding a premium touch, the keyboard features an aluminum alloy anode-oxidized decorative backplate.
One of the standout features is the customizable ARGB lighting system. The K87 V3 offers approximately 16 million colors with a 360° ARGB surround ambient lighting effect. This system is further enhanced by proprietary software that supports dynamic light synchronization, a 2.0 version of music rhythm lighting, and custom GIF lighting effects, allowing users to personalize their setup to an extraordinary degree.
Performance and Connectivity
Under the hood, the K87 V3 is powered by MaiCong’s self-developed “XingDou” solution 2.0. This technology enables a native dual 8K polling rate, resulting in an ultra-low latency of just 0.125ms. This level of responsiveness is crucial for competitive gaming and demanding professional applications.
Connectivity is also a strong point for the K87 V3. It supports a versatile triple-mode connection, including wired, 2.4G wireless, and Bluetooth. This allows users to seamlessly switch between devices and connection types, offering maximum flexibility for different use cases.
Advanced Construction for Superior Typing Feel
MaiCong has incorporated a Gasket mount structure combined with six layers of sound-dampening material. This construction method is known for providing a softer, more cushioned typing feel and significantly reducing internal noise, contributing to a “HiFi Mahjong” sound profile. This refers to a satisfyingly crisp and pleasant typing sound, often sought after by mechanical keyboard enthusiasts.
