Japanese firm Mediagene has announced that its e-commerce platform GIZMART will begin pre-orders for the new Keychron C3 Pro Trackball 8K keyboard on October 28th. This innovative keyboard aims to streamline workflow by integrating cursor input directly into the device.

Innovative Design for Enhanced Productivity

The Keychron C3 Pro Trackball 8K features a unique 80% layout with a split spacebar. The traditional spacebar is divided into two keys, with a 14mm trackball positioned in the center. This design eliminates the need for users to constantly switch between their keyboard and a separate mouse, allowing for a more fluid and efficient work experience. Furthermore, the keyboard includes a dedicated mouse input layer, which enables users to convert key presses into cursor clicks and scrolling actions.

Key Features and Specifications

Constructed with a plastic body, the C3 Pro Trackball 8K supports a single USB-C wired connection mode. It comes equipped with ZMK firmware, known for its flexibility and customization options. The internal structure utilizes a Gasket mount system, providing a comfortable typing feel and improved acoustics. The keyboard also boasts hot-swappable switch sockets, allowing users to easily replace or upgrade their mechanical switches without soldering. For aesthetic customization and usability in low-light conditions, the keyboard features integrated RGB backlighting.

Pricing and Availability

Pre-orders for the Keychron C3 Pro Trackball 8K keyboard are set to commence on October 28th, local time. The standard price, including tax, is ¥13,640. However, early birds can take advantage of a super early bird discount, bringing the price down to ¥11,594. At current exchange rates, this translates to approximately 494 Chinese Yuan.
