Huawei has started rolling out the HarmonyOS 7.0.0.109 SP10 update to its Pura X View smartphone. The substantial update, weighing in at approximately 4.83GB, introduces several new features, including enhanced communication sharing and track navigation for a turned-off screen.

Hidden Gaming Feature Unveiled

Beyond the officially listed features, IT Home reports that the Pura X View now sports a notable gaming enhancement: the game bullet notification system, previously seen on the Mate 90 series. This feature allows players to see in-game notifications as scrolling text, similar to bullet comments in a live stream.

Within the Game Assistant, users can personalize the appearance of these notifications, adjusting the speed and size of the text. Additionally, the system allows for management of which applications can send these bullet notifications. Currently, supported apps include QQ, WeChat, Messages, Changlian App, and DingTalk.

Game Assistant: A Powerhouse for Gamers

Huawei’s Game Assistant, a built-in utility on its devices, is designed to provide a seamless gaming experience. The tool offers a suite of quick controls accessible during gameplay. These include activating high-performance mode for smoother frame rates, enabling do-not-disturb modes to avoid interruptions, and features like knuckle-tap blocking, screen recording, intelligent voice control, and brightness lock.

Broader HarmonyOS Advancements

The HarmonyOS 7.0.0.109 SP10 update for the Pura X View also brings other significant capabilities. Among them is ‘Multi-person Mutual Aid Communication Sharing,’ which likely enhances collaborative communication scenarios. Another interesting addition is ‘Screen-off Track Navigation,’ providing users with navigational guidance even when the display is off, potentially saving battery life and offering convenience for users on the move.

This latest update for the Pura X View underscores Huawei’s commitment to refining its software ecosystem, particularly focusing on user experience enhancements that cater to both daily productivity and specialized needs like mobile gaming.
