HKC has officially launched its new 27-inch monitor, the ‘Starry G7W White Edition’, now available on JD.com. This new display boasts impressive gaming specifications, featuring a 2K resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, making it a compelling option for gamers and performance-oriented users.
Stunning Visuals and Smooth Performance
The Starry G7W White Edition is equipped with a 2560×1440 resolution Fast IPS panel, delivering crisp and detailed visuals. The standout feature is its 240Hz refresh rate, which ensures incredibly smooth motion, crucial for fast-paced gaming and dynamic content. Complementing the high refresh rate, the monitor offers a 1ms GtG (Gray-to-Gray) response time, minimizing motion blur and ghosting for a clearer picture.
In terms of color performance, the display supports 10-Bit color depth (achieved through 8-Bit + FRC technology), enabling it to reproduce a wider spectrum of colors. It covers 91% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, providing vibrant and accurate colors essential for creative work and an immersive viewing experience.
Brightness and HDR Capabilities
The monitor offers a standard SDR brightness of 350 nits, suitable for most indoor environments. For content that supports it, the Starry G7W can reach a peak HDR brightness of 400 nits, enhancing contrast and detail in high dynamic range content. The static contrast ratio stands at 1000:1, contributing to deep blacks and bright whites.
Ergonomic Design and Connectivity
Aesthetically, the Starry G7W White Edition features a clean white bezel and stand, fitting well into minimalist or modern setups. The included stand is highly adjustable, supporting lift, tilt, and pivot functions, allowing users to find the optimal viewing angle and position for maximum comfort. For mounting flexibility, the monitor is VESA 75x75mm compatible.
Connectivity options are robust, with the monitor providing two HDMI 2.0 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices, including modern gaming consoles and PCs. A 3.5mm audio jack is also included for easy headphone or speaker connection.
Pricing and Availability
The HKC Starry G7W White Edition 27-inch monitor is priced at 1054 yuan on JD.com. In certain regions, with national subsidies applied, the price can drop as low as 948.6 yuan, making it a very competitive option in the 2K 240Hz monitor market.
This release positions HKC as a strong contender for budget-conscious gamers and professionals seeking high-performance displays without a premium price tag. The combination of a 2K 240Hz Fast IPS panel, ergonomic design, and competitive pricing makes the Starry G7W White Edition a noteworthy addition to the PC hardware landscape.
