Xiaomi has officially opened pre-orders for its latest tablet offerings, the Xiaomi Pad 9 and Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro, with prices starting at 2999 Yuan. These new devices are set to launch later this month and boast powerful Snapdragon 8 series processors and high-resolution 3.2K displays.
Xiaomi Pad 9 and Pad 9 Pro: Key Features
The Xiaomi Pad 9 features an 11.2-inch display and comes in four color options: Peach Pink, Spruce Green, Black, and Silver. The larger Xiaomi Pad 9 Pro sports a 12.5-inch screen, designed to balance productivity with portability. It will be available in Spruce Green, Black, and Silver.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi Pad 9 is powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, while the Pad 9 Pro is equipped with the more advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. Both tablets come with a minimum of 8GB of RAM.
Battery life is also a significant focus. The Pad 9 houses a 9720mAh battery, and the Pad 9 Pro is equipped with a larger 11000mAh battery. Xiaomi claims these can support up to 14.5 hours of short video playback or 20 hours of online meetings.
Enhanced User Experience with HyperOS 4
Both new tablets will run on the latest HyperOS 4 operating system. This software aims to provide a seamless experience with PC-level applications such as WPS for Pad, CapCut Professional Edition, Pixel Cake, ZWCAD, and CAJ Reader. The system also includes Super Xiao Ai 2.0, featuring functionalities like Inspiration Ball, an AI office suite, and cross-device task execution capabilities.
