Motorola has updated its Moto G and Moto G Power budget phones. Both 5G-enabled phones have larger displays than last year’s models, which have increased by 0.1 inch to 6.7 and 6.8 inches, respectively. Both have a high-brightness mode that reaches 1000 nits to make the screens more visible in bright daylight. They also have a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
The Moto G 2025 and Moto G Power 2025 have Dolby Atmos support, as well as bass enhancement technology and hi-res audio. In addition, each of them has a 5000 mAh battery and runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset.
The price of Moto G starts at $200. It boasts a 50-megapixel primary camera and Gorilla Glass 3, as well as an IP52 water-repellent design. The phone, which will be available in Forest Gray and Sapphire Blue colors, has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage (expandable up to 1TB via microSD) in its base configuration.
As for the latest Moto G Power model, it has twice the amount of RAM and storage, as well as Gorilla Glass 5 instead of 3. It should also be more reliable, as it has IP68/69 water protection. Moto G Power will start at $300 and will be available in green and gray colors.
