5 startups received funding for open data solutions

On December 6, the Open Data Accelerator program held a demo day. Its goal is to help Ukrainian technology projects based on open data implement solutions, develop, and scale. For three months, the participants improved their business models, enhanced the technical components of their developments, and created strategies for attracting investment. In the final round, 14 teams presented their projects to experts from Ukrainian and international organizations.

The jury members evaluated the projects based on the innovativeness of the idea, potential impact, project quality and stage of development, use of open data, sustainability, and independence from grant funding. They selected the five best startups that will receive a grant fund of more than UAH 5.8 million to develop their projects.
