Rakuten Viber has launched a monthly paid subscription with additional premium features. The subscription is now available in Ukraine and more than forty countries. All previous Rakuten Viber features, including calls and messages, remain free for all users worldwide.
What does Viber Plus give you?
Users who purchase a subscription will have access to the following new features:
- Transcription of voice messages into text. It will work with just a click on a chat message.
- Limited advertising. Subscription holders will not see advertising messages in the chat list and after calls.
- Invisible mode. Allows you to read messages and be online without revealing your online status to others.
- Unlimited access to paid stickers.
- Chat with the support service. Managers answer in English, you can also contact them in Ukrainian.
- Special application icons. Subscribers will be able to choose the Rakuten Viber icon style among several new ones.
- The Viber Plus badge on the user interface in the application. This badge will be visible to other users.
How to connect
The subscription is currently available to Rakuten Viber users on iOS and Android, starting with version 21.2. The cost is $1.99 per month, and you can pay for the subscription via Google Play or the App Store. The subscription can be activated at any time and will be renewed automatically. To activate the function, go to “Advanced” – > Viber Plus.
All users in Ukraine will be able to activate the subscription in the coming days. All previous existing Rakuten Viber features, including calls and messages, remain free for all users worldwide.

According to him, Viber Plus will help people interact with each other on a new level and allow subscribers to be the first to get acquainted with new features.
Currently, the premium service is available in more than forty countries, including Ukraine, Poland, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Kuwait, Australia, Israel, Sweden, Austria, India, Italy, Spain, and others.
