Ukrtelecom, the largest telecommunications company in Ukraine, has introduced “OHO! Telephony” service for subscribers to the “OHO!” internet service and fixed-line communication since July 1.
Ukrtelecom announced this in a statement.
The service provides that a subscriber receives a telephone number with 0892 code, allowing him to make voice and video calls via VoIP technology (IP-telephony).
The outgoing calls to the telephone numbers of fixed-line communication cost 36 kopecks per minute (up to 2,000 minutes) and 72 kopecks per minute (starting from 2,001 minute); calls to Ukrtelecom mobile phone numbers cost 25 kopecks per minute, other operators — 72 kopecks per minute.
The incoming calls with 0892 code cost 5 kopecks per minute from Ukrtelecom fixed-line phone numbers and 25 kopecks from mobile phone numbers.
The subscriber fee makes up UAH 0 per month for subscribers to the “OHO!” internet service and UAH 20 per month for subscribers to fixed-line communication; starting from the second number the subscriber fee totals UAH 12 per month for subscribers to the “OHO!” internet service and UAH 20 per month for subscribers to fixed-line communication.
The outgoing and incoming calls are charged per minute.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Ukrtelecom ended 2009 with a loss of UAH 456.4 million, having increased the net revenues by 3.39% or UAH 225.202 million to UAH 6,870.931 million.
Ukrtelecom has a 78.5% share of the fixed-line telephone market in Ukraine and provides services to 9.9 million subscribers.
