As part of the Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front military initiative, Ukrtelecom has handed over a batch of special purpose drones to the Ukrainian military. The drones from reliable Ukrainian manufacturers were sent to various units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces to help our defenders perform combat missions in the most difficult areas of the frontline.
“Now everyone is doing everything possible to win. This demonstrates the cohesion of our country. The support of our soldiers by Ukrainian companies is necessary and important. We are grateful to Ukrtelecom and Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front for their help,” commented a representative of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukrtelecom has already donated UAH 65 million worth of aid to the Ukrainian defenders as part of the Rinat Akhmetov’s Steel Front initiative. This includes drones, medicines, hardware and software systems for combat management, corporate cars and much more. This was stated by Ukrtelecom CEO Yuriy Kurmaz.
“Today, we are proud and honored to hand over a batch of special-purpose drones to the Defense Forces. The support of Ukrainian business to the Armed Forces is very important, because it is together that we are bringing our victory over the enemy closer,” Kurmaz said. – “Thanks to our heroes, we can live and work at home, on our native land. Thanks to the courage and resilience of our defenders, Ukraine is liberating its territories from the aggressor. We are proud of our Ukrainian defenders and will continue to help them. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!”
More than 350 Ukrtelecom employees are defending the Ukrainian land in the Armed Forces.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Rinat Akhmetov’s businesses have joined forces to help Ukraine’s defenders. As part of the Steel Front initiative, they have already donated more than UAH 3 billion to help Ukraine in the war against Russia.
