In August, the UActive conference was held, an informal civic education program for students in grades 8-11 who want to change their environment for the better.
It demonstrated an initiative to collect and recycle plastic to create drone shanks on a 3D printer. These parts help the soldiers attach the striking part to the drone. Students from many Ukrainian schools joined the initiative.
This was reported and posted a photo by Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov.
“Together with Rozetka, we gave the schoolchildren additional 3D printers. Now the boys and girls will be able to scale up and produce even more parts for drones,” says Fedorov.
