The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has adopted a resolution that will allow launching a revolutionary comprehensive service – e-Entrepreneur – on the Diia portal.
Ukrainians will be able to get the services they need to start their own business with a single application. This will completely change the approach to starting a business and allow people to spend more time developing their businesses rather than bureaucracy.
e-Entrepreneur will combine 12 services for businesses. These include state registration of a sole proprietorship, registration as a single tax payer, submission of information about vacancies, opening a bank account, registration of a fire safety declaration, etc.
How to use
To start a business, it will be enough to fill out an application on the Diia portal in 20 minutes without even leaving your home. In addition, you can use the e-Entrepreneur service at any stage of starting or developing your own business. In particular, you can choose two or more services from the offered ones. For example, current sole proprietors will be able to expand their business by registering another coffee shop or kiosk, etc.
Until now, in order to start a new company, you had to go to government agencies, print papers and collect permits. The whole process took about 1.5 months.
Pilot launch
Initially, e-Entrepreneur will be launched for several types of activities, in particular:
- beauty salons,
- cafes,
- points of sale.
The service will be available not only to newly established sole proprietors but also to existing businesses to open a new kiosk or manicure studio.
“It is important that e-Entrepreneur will have a powerful anti-corruption effect. Instead of going to an institution with an envelope, fill out an application online,” said Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.
The comprehensive e-Entrepreneur service will be developed within the EU4DigitalUA project, funded by the European Union and implemented by the Estonian Academy of Electronic Governance.
