The Redmi Note 15 Pro series will be released this month

Redmi seems to be finally ready to unveil its next Note series phones. Wang Teng, general manager of Xiaomi China’s marketing department and head of the Redmi brand, confirmed today that the new Redmi Note 15 series phones will be unveiled at the end of this month.

In his Weibo post, Wang also shared some statistics about the brand. According to him, Redmi Note models are now sold in more than 100 countries, and in the first half of 2025, they became the most popular domestic smartphones in the world in the price range from $175 to $499.

The Note 15 Pro lineup will likely strive to meet these expectations. Wang says the series is “built to the highest standards of 2025” and has “the highest build quality in all aspects.”

What to expect?

As for what to expect, the Note 15 Pro has passed 3C certification in China with 90W charging. Meanwhile, the top-of-the-line Note 15 Pro+ has received MIIT certification for supporting satellite communications via the BeiDou system.

This makes the Note 15 Pro+ the first Redmi phone to support satellite connectivity. Even Redmi’s flagship K series does not yet offer this feature.

In terms of hardware, the Note 15 Pro is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s series chipset.

It will feature a quad-curved OLED screen with a thin, uniform bezel and 1.5K resolution. Its camera will have a high-quality 50-megapixel main sensor with a large sensor size, as well as a 50-megapixel telephoto lens.

As for other features, they may include symmetrical dual speakers and, judging by last year’s Note 14 Pro model, full waterproofing to IP66, IP68, and IP69 standards, as well as an eye-protecting 1.5K resolution display.
