Another day, another Tesla recall. This time, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has informed the owners of nearly 700,000 Tesla vehicles of a problem with the tire pressure monitoring system warning light, the Associated Press reports.
The recall applies to the Cybertruck 2024, Model 3 2017-2025, and Model Y 2020-2025. The NHTSA says the tire pressure monitoring system warning light may not stay on between trips.
Tesla says it will send out an update for vehicles affected by the warning light issue. Notification letters are expected to be sent to owners on February 15, 2025.
There were more than a few Tesla and OTR recalls last year. Last year, the NHTSA recorded seven Cybertruck recalls for rearview camera issues, faulty wipers, and a loose trunk mount. In June, Tesla issued a wireless update to 1.8 million vehicles, including select 2021-2024 Model 3, S, and X models and 2020-2024 Model Y models, to fix hoods that can unscrew while driving if not properly closed.
