Russian channels announced the development of the Stupor Storm V5 anti-drone radar. However, there is no Storm, but a Chinese radar station.
This was reported by military telecommunications expert Sergei Flesh (Beskrestnov). He cites the characteristics of this radar and points out its rather high price:
- The price is over $90,000 (the expert has not seen anything cheaper than 50 thousand).
- The range of the drone is 3-4 kilometers.
- Not able to distinguish between types of drones.
- For a 360 view, the radar must
- : Have an open line of sight, no bushes or plantings.
- Must be able to rotate.
With these characteristics, the radar will not be able to work near the front line.
“It’s perfect for protecting oligarchs’ estates,” adds Flesh.
