The State Communication Administration estimates the cost of the completion of the introduction of digital television in Ukraine at UAH 363 million, chairman of the administration Mykola Honchar said.
Honchar said that at the first stage of the introduction of digital television, the state spent UAH 9 million.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Radio Broadcasting, Radio Communication, and Television Concern (KRRT) on February 3 submitted an application for the digital television broadcasting to the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council.
The KRRT on Thursday, February 4, began test digital broadcasting in nine cities.
