The State Property Fund announced the «Ostriv» Consulting Firm closed joint-stock company (Kyiv) the winner in a competition for selection of the state’s 92.8-percent stake in the Ukrtelecom telecommunication company, Ukrainian News has learned from the Property Fund press service.
The competition took place on January 6.
Ostriv has thirty days for the appraisal.
The «Ostriv» Consulting Firm closed joint-stock company was founded in April 1992. It was among the first enterprises in the area of professional services of independent property appraisal, property rights, and consulting.
The company says it has previously appraised 43% of shares in Ukrtelecom.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, ESU, a Kyiv-based subsidiary company of the EPIC concern (Austria), is the only one to bid in the tender for sale of 92.79% of Ukrtelecom.
The Property Fund on October 13 offered for sale 92.79% of the shares in Ukrtelecom at the starting price UAH 10.5 billion.
The bid that ESU submitted for Ukrtelecom was UAH 10 more than the starting price of UAH 10.5 billion that was set by the Property Fund.
After the appraisal, the Property Fund is supposed to offer the only bidder buy the stake at this price if the value estimated by the appraiser is not lower.
