In the nearly two years of the ongoing war, Ukrainian businesses have demonstrated impressive resilience, adapting to the challenges and circumstances. Some have not only adapted, but also changed their business models to operate in foreign markets and increase exports. Such business expansion requires considerable effort to develop, as it often requires seeking local partnerships and using effective tools to reduce costs and time to enter a new market.
What is SAP Business Network?
The SAP Business Network is a global platform for B2B collaboration where companies can connect, transact, build partnerships, and share information. The network allows suppliers and buyers to seamlessly find the right partnerships. Serving nearly $5 trillion in annual turnover through more than 800 million transactions involving buyers and suppliers from 190 countries, the SAP Business Network is the largest business network.
Ukrainian manufacturers have the opportunity to join the SAP Business Network free of charge to showcase their products to hundreds of thousands of potential buyers around the world. To become a supplier in the business network, you do not need to be an SAP customer, the process of joining is simple by creating a standard account.

Helping Ukraine
After February 24, 2022, SAP added a button to the Business Network called “Support Ukraine” so that suppliers from around the world can indicate their willingness to provide humanitarian aid. And any organization in Ukraine that needs it can publicize its needs and find the goods it needs.
Within the first 15 hours of the tool’s launch, more than 300 suppliers expressed their willingness to help. In a few months, their number grew to more than 4,600, and they delivered more than €130 million in humanitarian goods, including 300,000 first aid kits, tourniquets to stop severe bleeding, and more.
