Samsung Galaxy S24, S24 Plus and S24 Ultra for the USA have passed FCC certification

After the Galaxy S24 Plus, the FCC certificate was also received by the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra. The Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24 Ultra are listed on the certification website with model numbers SM-S921U and SM-S928U, respectively.

We’re just a few weeks away from the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. In the run-up to the official debut, we’ve been learning new details about the S24 lineup over the past few months thanks to several leaks and certifications. Recently, the top-of-the-line model, the Galaxy S24 Ultra, passed NBTC certification. It showed that the phone will support 5G. And recently, the US version of the Galaxy S24+ received FCC certification.

Samsung Galaxy S24+ will have UWB connectivity and 5G support, which is confirmed by an FCC certificate

The FCC certificate states that the model number of the Galaxy S24+ smartphone is SM-S926U. In addition, the certification documents show that the device was tested with a 25W fast charger (EP-TA800). The listing also reveals that the phone will have a UWB interface, NFC, and 5G support. Apart from these details, no other specifications of the smartphone have been disclosed due to FCC certification.

A previous leak suggests that the Galaxy S24+ will feature a 6.7-inch display. It is assumed that the display panel will have a notch in the center, which will no doubt contain a selfie camera. The device is expected to measure about 158.5 x 75.9 x 7.75 mm. The device will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, as evidenced by the Geekbench data published earlier.

The device can have up to 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB/512 GB of internal storage. It is worth noting that more RAM and storage configurations may be available at the launch. As for the software, the S24 line will run Android 14 with the proprietary One UI 6 interface.

For imaging, the S24+ will rely on a triple camera setup. The camera module may include a 50-megapixel Samsung GN3 sensor, a 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens. The front of the device is expected to include a 12-megapixel selfie camera. The smartphone is likely to be equipped with a 4,900 mAh battery with support for fast charging of up to 45W, as evidenced by the preliminary 3C certification.
