Today, Samsung has finally unveiled the Galaxy A35. The device was announced together with its older brother Galaxy A55.
The duo share some of the basic specifications. But there are still many differences between them, which means that one is cheaper and the other is more expensive.
Technical specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A35
Like its predecessor Galaxy A34, the latest Galaxy A35 comes with a plastic bezel and plastic back. However, it has a new key design where the power and volume keys are slightly raised above the bezel.
The phone is equipped with a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a center hole protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. The panel has an FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080 pixels) and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
Under the hood of the smartphone is the Exynos 1380 SoC, which powered last year’s Galaxy A54. The chipset is paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
The phone has a 13-megapixel front camera. On the back, there is a triple camera consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle module, and a 5-megapixel macro camera.
The device is equipped with a fingerprint sensor under the display and two stereo speakers. It is also IP67-rated for dust and water resistance.
In terms of software, it comes with One UI 6.1 based on Android 14. Samsung promises up to 4 generations of OS updates and 5 years of security updates.
Finally, the phone is powered by a 5000 mAh battery and supports 25W wired charging.
