Samsung Galaxy A25 5G has passed NBTC certification

Samsung is preparing to launch its Galaxy A25 5G. We recently exclusively showed renders and full specifications of the device. Today, the MySmartPrice team spotted the device with the model number SM-A256E/DSN on the NBTC certification site.

The listing on the NBTC website confirms the name of the device. It also confirms that the device will have 5G support. Apart from that, the website does not list any specifications of the smartphone.

However, according to a previous report, the upcoming Galaxy A25 5G will feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U display. This display will boast a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. The Exynos 1280 chipset will be installed under the hood. The device will be available in two configurations with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of internal storage, and will support MicroSD cards up to 1 TB.

As for the cameras, the Galaxy A25 5G will have a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. The front panel will house a 13-megapixel selfie camera. The camera will also have various editing functions and artificial intelligence filters. The device will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W fast charging support.

The smartphone will receive four years of operating system updates and five years of security updates. It will also include Samsung’s Knox and Samsung Pay security features. Despite being a budget device, Galaxy A25 5G will have stereo speakers. The device will weigh 197 grams and measure 161.0 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm.

In addition, the device is scheduled to debut in 2024. Unfortunately, there is no exact launch date for the smartphone. Nevertheless, we look forward to receiving more information about its launch and price in the near future.
