Realme has quietly released two new budget smartphones in China. Both of them support 5G and belong to the same series.
These devices are called Realme V50 and Realme V50s. Despite the different names, they have the same set of specifications. The cheaper V50 is the carrier variant, and the more expensive V50s is the unlocked version.
It’s worth noting that these phones are similar to the Realme 11x, but have a different camera and slower charging. Let’s check out everything they have to offer.
Specifications of the Realme V50, V50s
The Realme V50 series of smartphones has a flat frame and a round camera module. They are 7.89 mm thick and weigh 190 g.
The phones are equipped with a 6.72-inch display with a centered hole arrangement. This LCD panel has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a peak brightness level of 680 nits.
In addition, they run on the MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus chipset. In terms of software, they load Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13.
The rear panel has a dual camera. The main 13-megapixel sensor is paired with an unidentified secondary sensor, which is most likely a depth sensor. The front panel has an 8-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
The devices come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot, and a 5000 mAh battery. The charging speed is not specified. So, they probably support standard 10W or 18W charging.
As mentioned at the beginning, the Realme V50 and Realme V50s are almost identical to the Realme 11x, which comes with a 64-megapixel primary camera and 33W charging support.
