Realme 12+ 5G NBTC certified, global launch imminent

The Realme 12+ 5G is gradually gaining approval from various certification platforms. A recent development showed that it was approved by Thailand’s NBTC regulatory body. While the Realme 12 Pro series will launch globally on January 29, it looks like the Realme 12+ 5G launch may also be just around the corner.

Realme 12+ 5G NBTC certification

The NBTC Realme 12+ 5G certificate shows that its model number is RMX3867. Earlier this week, the same device was certified by the Malaysian regulatory platform SIRIM. In the recent past, the device has also been approved by Indonesian authorities TKDN and SDPPI, FCC, and TUV Rheinland. In addition, there is speculation that the RMX3867 phone, which was recently spotted in China’s 3C database, could be a Chinese variant of the Realme 12+ 5G.

Realme 12+ 5G specifications (rumored)

It is currently reported that the Realme 12+ 5G will have a 16-megapixel camera on the front. On the back of the device, there may be a 64-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel secondary lens. It may be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support.

Realme 12+ 5G can run Android 14 based on Realme UI 5. In addition, it is expected to support NFC connectivity. Other details about the device have not yet been disclosed.

By the way, Realme 12 Pro+ with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset and 12 GB of RAM was recently spotted on Geekbench. There is speculation that Realme chose Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 for the Pro model. Both devices are expected to feature a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED display and a 5000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The 12 Pro will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and a triple camera on the back: 50-megapixel (IMX890, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide-angle) + 32-megapixel (telephoto). On the other hand, the 12 Pro+ will have a 32-megapixel selfie camera and a triple camera: 50-megapixel (IMX890, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide-angle) + 64-megapixel (OV64B periscope).
