Realme is working on the Realme 12+ 5G for the global and Chinese markets. The Realme phone with the model number RMX3866 will reportedly be called the Realme 12+ 5G when it debuts on the global market. A similarly model numbered Realme phone with the model code RMX3866 that recently appeared on Chinese certification platforms such as 3C and TENAA is believed to be the Chinese variant of the Realme 12+ 5G. Recently, the global version of the Realme 12+ 5G appeared on the benchmarking platform Geekbench. As usual, the listing revealed the chipset, RAM, and Android version of the device.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Realme 12+ 5G will have the model number MT6877V/TTZA. The chip’s processor and GPU specifications suggest that the device may be equipped with the Dimensity 7050 chipset. The listing also specifies 12 GB of RAM and Android 14, which is likely to have the Realme UI 5 shell. In single-core and multi-core tests, the device scored 958 and 2346 points, respectively.
It is speculated that the Chinese variant of the Realme 12+ 5G may appear along with the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+ models later this month in China. The Pro models have already entered the global market. So, it’s likely that the 12+ could enter markets outside of China in March. Here are the rumored specifications of the device.

According to the TENAA certification, the alleged Realme 12+ 5G will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and possibly a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, there could be an octa-core processor clocked at 2.6 GHz and a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging. In China, the device may come with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage.
The Realme 12+ 5G is expected to have a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50MP+8MP+2MP triple camera setup. For security purposes, it may have an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The device will measure 162.95 x 75.45 x 7.87 mm and weigh 190 grams.
