Recently launched in China, the Oppo Reno 11 series of smartphones will soon be released to a global audience. The standard Reno 11 5G has been spotted in the database of the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) in Thailand, hinting at an imminent launch.
Oppo Reno 11 5G NBTC certification
The smartphone appeared with the model number CPH2599, just after the NBTC approved the Reno 11 Pro 5G (model number CPH2607). Unfortunately, the certification does not reveal any additional details about the device’s specifications or features.

However, the exact specifications of the global Reno 11 models remain unclear. While the Chinese versions boast a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, a recent Geekbench listing for the global Reno 11 5G suggests that the smartphone may opt for a mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC.
In other words, it’s unclear whether the global Reno 11 will be the same as the Reno 11 in China or whether it will be a stripped-down version. But this difference is not surprising, as last year’s Reno 10 also had different specifications between its global and Chinese versions. However, the Pro models have maintained similar specifications across all regions.
As a reminder, the Chinese Reno 11 features a 6.7-inch OLED display with curved edges, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 950 nits of brightness. The screen is also home to a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The rear panel features a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-600 primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32-megapixel IMX709 telephoto sensor for 2x zoom.
A 4800 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support powers the device, and the latest ColorOS 14 operating system based on Android 14 is responsible for the software.
Although the official launch date of the global Reno 11 series remains unknown, we can expect the devices to appear sometime in the first quarter of 2024.
