OnePlus announced that it will launch the Ace 3 smartphone in China on January 4. It is also confirmed that the brand will present TWS-enabled headphones at the same event. The upcoming offering is the OnePlus Buds 3. A teaser poster published by OnePlus on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo gives us an official look at the TWS headphones.
OnePlus Buds 3 will arrive on January 4
The poster shows that the OnePlus Buds 3 have a semi-in-ear design with a glossy finish on the earbuds and matte-finish silicone earbuds. TWS headphones have abandoned the two-color design that was inherent in the previous flagship models OnePlus Buds Pro and Buds Pro 2. The upcoming audio device retains the same square design of the storage and charging case.
The OnePlus Buds 3 will be available in space gray and clear blue colors. The poster claims that they “popularize the flagship sound quality and will be the first choice for OnePlus users”. These are true wireless earbuds with noise-canceling function. TWS headphones are already available for pre-order in China on Tmall, JD, and OPPO Mall.
As for the main specs, the OnePlus Buds 3 will reportedly feature a 10.4 mm woofer and a 6 mm tweeter. They will feature 48-dB noise cancellation and Google Fast Pair, as well as dual connectivity. The headphones will have IP55 protection class. In addition, Digital Chat Station also reports that OnePlus Buds 3 will feature 3D spatial sound, LHDC 5.0, and an impressive 44 hours of battery life.
