OnePlus Ace 3: Camera samples have appeared ahead of the presentation on January 4

OnePlus is planning to debut the OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone on January 4 in China. The device will reportedly be rebranded as OnePlus 12R for the global market. In anticipation of the Chinese launch, the brand has pleased with sample images of the OnePlus Ace 3.

Images show natural colors, with excellent handling of light and shadow. Compared to Ace 2, Ace 3 produces better portraits with balanced contrast. These improvements are largely due to the “ultra-sharp image quality algorithm” and “super light and shadow algorithm”. In addition, the phone will also be equipped with new image sensors.

Earlier it was reported that the phone will have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 2-megapixel macro camera. Initial rumors also suggested a 32-megapixel telephoto camera, but OnePlus reportedly dropped the idea.

In addition, the Ace 3 is expected to feature a 6.78-inch BOE X1 8T LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution (2780 x 1264 pixels), 2160 Hz PWM dimming, and likely a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the Ace 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will have a robust 5,500 mAh battery with 100W charging support. According to other sources, it is rumored to offer a maximum of 16 GB of RAM and storage options of up to 1 TB.
