In May, the number of subscribers of Ukrainian mobile-telephone operators rose by 0.1% or 0.08 million to 54.91 million.
Ukrainian News has learned this from results of a research conducted by iKS-Consulting, a wording of which was made available for the agency.
The number of subscribers of GSM operators made up 53.18 million (96.8% of the market), subscribers of CDMA operators 1.196 million (2.18% of the market), others are subscribers of the UMTS operator Ukrtelecom, the largest telecommunication company.
In particular, number of Kyivstar’s subscribers made up 21.89 million (39.9% of the subscriber base), MTS’s subscribers 17.44 million (31.8%), Astelit company (life 🙂 brand) 11.86 million (21.6%) and Ukrainian Radiosystems (Beeline brand) 1.99 million (3.6%).
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in April, the number of subscribers of Ukrainian mobile-telephone operators shrank by 0.4% to 54.83 million.
