Google is adding its updated note-taking app to the One AI Premium plan. This means that subscribers will have access to NotebookLM Plus at no additional cost, which offers higher usage limits and premium features, such as the ability to customize NotebookLM answers.
Google first launched NotebookLM in 2023, allowing people to use artificial intelligence to research specific topics and organize notes. Since then, the company has added more interactive features, including the ability to dive deeper into YouTube videos, as well as turn your research into a podcast with two AI “hosts” you can chat with.
In December, Google launched the NotebookLM Plus plan for businesses, schools, organizations, and enterprise customers. In addition to five times the number of audio reviews, notebooks, queries, and sources per notebook, NotebookLM Plus also allows you to set up notebook sharing and see how many people have viewed them in a day.
Google currently offers the One AI Premium plan for $19.99 per month with 2 TB of storage and access to Gemini Advanced models, as well as Gemini in Workspace apps such as Gmail and Docs. Students over the age of 18 in the US can also get the One AI Premium plan for $9.99 per month for one year.
