Google is introducing a new Gmail feature for those who feel overwhelmed by the overwhelming amount of emails from subscriptions in their inboxes. The Manage Subscriptions view displays a list of emails delivered through active subscriptions, automatically sorted with the most frequent senders at the top, along with individual one-click links that allow you to unsubscribe from their mailing lists.
You can find the new feature by clicking the navigation bar in the top-left corner of your Gmail inbox and selecting Manage Subscriptions from the menu that appears. If you don’t see it yet, it’s rolling out to the web version of Gmail today, the Android mobile app on July 14, and the iOS app on July 21, but it may take a few weeks for it to be available to all users. It will be available to all Google personal accounts, Google Workspace customers, and individual Workspace subscribers in “selected countries.”
The view will show you who is sending the most emails and exactly how many messages they have sent in the last few weeks, so you can be better informed about who is clogging up your inbox the most.
By clicking on a specific sender, you’ll see a list of all their emails, and if you decide there are too many, the new feature includes an unsubscribe button for each one that will send the sender an unsubscribe request on your behalf.
