Port_of_YaltaThe National Communications Regulatory Commission (NCRC) licensed the Yalta merchant seaport (Autonomous Republic of Crimea) for using radio-frequency capacities for radio communications of coastal and ship stations in Yalta until 2015.

In particular, the license concerns bandwidth 156.500/156.500 MHz; 156.600/156.600 MHz; 156.700/156.700 MHz; 157.300/161.900 MHz.

    Combined bandwidth makes 0.125 MHz.

The terms of the capacities deployment: February 2011 (start of use) to April 2011 (complete deployment).

The Commission set particular conditions to the license, demanding nominal frequencies to be used together with other users of radio-frequency capacities and that electromagnetic compatibility must be assured through the application of unique calling signals of coastal and ship stations, tight time of using radioelectronic transmitting means, and under condition that they do not cause disturbances to the navigation and ship piloting services.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the Yalta seaport finished 2009 with UAH 4.079 million in the red, when it saw its gross income up 0.61% or UAH 0.24 million to UAH 39.591 million against 2008.

The port trimmed cargo handling by 33.48% in 2009 or 0.076 million ton to 0.151 million ton over 2008.

The Yalta merchant seaport is a state enterprise performing cargo and cargo-passenger transportations.
