On August 16, the MTS Ukraine mobile communication operator introduced Super MTS Team tariff plan for subscribers of prepaid communications, the operator said.
The cost of calls within MTS network is UAH 0 per minute, the cost of calls to fixed telephone numbers and numbers of other mobile communication operators is UAH 0.5 per minute.
The connection fee is not charged.
The tariff is positioned as children and so “parent” services are also included.
With the help of “My family” service a subscriber can call to two any numbers of Ukrainian mobile operators free of charge.
A subscriber also can use services “Looking after your child” (allows localization of your child), “Expense Control,” “Child’s Security” (GPRS-Internet access, calls and messaging are limited) and SOS service (allows a child to call even if no funds available).
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, MTS reported a net profit of UAH 640.3 million for the year 2009, when its net revenues fell by UAH 421.5 million or 4.9% to UAH 8,172.7 million compared with 2008.
Mobile Telesystems (MTS) of Russia owns 100% of the shares in MTS Ukraine.
