Motorola‘s next budget phone may be just around the corner. A leak from tech publication XpertPick has revealed the upcoming Moto G06 even before its official debut, thanks to a listing spotted on a European retailer’s website.
According to the listing from Italian retailer Epto, the Moto G06 will be available in two configurations: 4 GB of RAM paired with 64 GB or 256 GB of storage. The base model costs €122.90, while the higher capacity version will cost €169.90.
Moto G06 available in Pantone certified colors
In terms of color options, Motorola has once again partnered with Pantone to offer some vibrant design options. Reportedly, the phone will be available in Arabesque (soft lavender), Tapestry (warm pink), and Tendril (fresh green). For a phone at this price point, Pantone-certified colors are a rare design decision.
While the announcement doesn’t specify any other specs, we can look to last year’s Moto G05 for some clues. That model had a 6.67-inch HD+ IPS LCD panel with a 90Hz refresh rate, Helio G81 Extreme chipset, and a 5,200mAh battery with 18W charging capability.
It also comes with a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and basic features like a fingerprint reader on the side, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Whether the G06 will keep a similar formula or bring an upgrade remains to be seen, but an early leak suggests that Motorola is sticking to its budget strategy by focusing on storage and aesthetics.
