Mobile operators warn about changes in recharge rules

Starting August 1, the National Bank is changing the procedure for conducting cash transactions through payment terminals, which will also affect cash replenishment of mobile accounts.

“The updated procedure provides for mandatory identification of the payer when replenishing a mobile account,” Vodafone said.

It will be carried out in two ways: a one-time password will be sent to the specified mobile phone number or it will be transmitted via a phone call that the payer will enter on the screen of the payment device.

Before depositing money, you must provide your phone number, as it will receive an incoming call. If you don’t have one, you can order an SMS to be sent.
Next, to confirm the transaction, enter the last four digits of the number from which the call comes, the code from the SMS or the message in the messenger.
Then, the required amount is deposited to the payment terminal.

If you are replenishing another person’s account, you must:

  1. Specify the phone number of the subscriber whose account is to be replenished.
  2. When prompted for identification, enter the mobile number to which the call, SMS or messenger message will be sent.
  3. Enter the last four digits of the number from which the call is received or the message code in the password field.
  4. Enter the amount.
