In addition, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Special Communications Service, and CERT-UA are helping to investigate the cyberattack and restore the operator’s cybersecurity.

“We cooperate a lot with Microsoft, Cisco, Ericsson. In fact, it is a global team that is involved in solving this case,” Komarov said.

According to him, Ericsson is involved in the restoration of the infrastructure. Microsoft is an expert in the investigation because it is necessary to understand the source of the problem. At the same time, Cisco is a provider of all cyber defense systems.

“To raise this perimeter and secure it, we have the help of Cisco as our largest service provider,” adds the head of Kyivstar.
