The perfect Bluetooth speaker for a day at the park – this is it. Marshall has updated its lineup of portable speakers with the Kilburn III, which features an impressive battery life of at least 50 hours. Not only does the Kilburn III have twice the battery life of Marshall’s previous model, but it also far outperforms competitors such as the Beats Pill or Bang & Olufsen A1 with their 24-hour playback limits.
The third iteration of Marshall’s Kilburn came about seven years after the Kilburn II was introduced. In addition to a significant increase in battery life, the company has improved the water and dust resistance to IP54, which means it can handle some dirt and water splashes. Marshall has retained the signature guitar amp look of the Bluetooth speaker, as well as the tactile control knobs that make adjusting volume, bass, and treble much easier.

You’ll still get the true Marshall stereo sound that makes music sound the same no matter where you sit or stand. Even if you crank up the volume by 10, Marshall promises that the bass, midrange, and treble will remain balanced. The Kilburn III weighs 6.7 pounds so it’s easier to take to parties, and it can even charge your phone.
The Kilburn III upgrade won’t come cheap, as it currently retails for $379.99. Marshall has kept the black brass color that comes with a velvet carrying strap, but added a cream color for a refreshing change. The Kilburn III is currently available for purchase on Marshall’s website, but will be available to retail partners on June 10.
