lifecell mobile operator announces financial and operational results for Q123, demonstrating revenue growth of 16.5% and EBITDA growth of 24.2% on a yearly basis. lifecell three-month active subscribers base declined to 8.6 million because of the ongoing war.

REVENUE: In Q123 lifecell demonstrated revenue growth of 16.5% YoY to UAH 2,687.4 million against UAH 2,306.8 million in Q122.

EBITDA & EBITDA MARGIN: In Q123 EBITDA increased by 24.2% YoY to UAH 1,605.0 million from UAH 1,292.4 million in Q122 resulting in an EBITDA margin of 59.7% in Q123 compared to 56.0% in Q122.

CAPITAL EXPENDITURES: In Q123 CAPEX decreased by 10.3% to UAH 638.0 million against UAH 711.6 million in Q122.

NET INCOME: lifecell recorded a net income of UAH 515.6 million in Q123 compared to a net income of UAH 209.4 million in Q122.

SUBSCRIBER BASE: lifecell’s 3-month active subscriber base declined in Q123 by 3.4% YoY to 8.6 million (8.9 million in Q122). At the same time it increased by 1.2% in Q123 compared to previous quarter.

ARPU & MOU: In the reported period 3-month active ARPU increased by 24.1% YoY to UAH 104.6 against UAH 84.3 (Q122). Meanwhile, the 12-month MoU decreased by 21.5% YoY to 133.5 minutes (170.0 minutes in Q122).

lifecell network is fully operational, the operator continues to provide services to its customers. On average, approximately 92% of lifecell stores nationwide were open daily as of the end of March. As of Q123, lifecell maintained its leadership in the Ukrainian market with 84.6% smartphone penetration.
