South Korean tech giant LG first demonstrated its latest Signature OLED TV at CES 2023 in January. Almost 7 months later, the company launched the Signature OLED TV M3 in its home market of South Korea.
The smart TV is equipped with a massive 97-inch display. One of its key features is LG’s proprietary Zero Connect technology, which allows wireless transmission of video and audio signals in real time with a resolution of up to 4K and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
LG Signature TV M3 features
The TV has a modular design, with the Zero Connect unit separated from the main screen. This design not only eliminates cable confusion, but also ensures that the display remains flat despite its large size. The Zero Connect set-top box acts as a hub for connecting various devices such as game consoles, cable/satellite boxes, and gaming systems.
It offers multiple HDMI connectors for easy connectivity. The TV also supports wireless connectivity, which makes it easy to connect compatible soundbars to enhance sound quality.
The M3 and its Zero Connect unit give users design flexibility and simplify the installation process by eliminating tangled connections. The absence of visible cords contributes to the minimalist design of the One Wall Design, which enhances the overall viewing experience.
LG’s wireless technology uses advanced algorithms to ensure reliable video and audio transmission to the OLED screen. The system can instantly select the best transmission path based on environmental changes, such as the movement of people or animals in the room, to minimize errors or interruptions.
To optimize signal strength, the antenna on the Zero Connect box can be rotated or repositioned to suit your TV’s location. The set-top box also features voice recognition, allowing users to activate and control the M3 and connected devices using voice commands, increasing the overall convenience and accessibility of the TV.
