Lenovo is set to unveil a line of new Xiaoxin and Legion series laptops at a presentation to be held today in China. Ahead of the launch, the brand has confirmed the specifications of its Xiaoxin Pro 14 2024 Core Edition laptop.
According to the brand, the Xiaoxin Pro 14 2024 will come with Intel processors from Core Ultra 5 125H to Core Ultra 7 155H. It will also have an Intel ARC graphics card that boasts a 2x performance boost and supports advanced features like ray tracing and XeSS. The laptop will have up to 32GB of LPDDR5x 7467Mbps RAM combined with a 1TB M.2 SSD and a free Pcle 4.0 M.2 slot.
One of the key features of the Xiaoxin Pro 14 is the integration of a new independent NPU chip with an artificial intelligence engine. Compared to the previous generation, the display has undergone significant improvements: an optional 2.8K 120Hz OLED display with 600 nits brightness, covering the full DCI-P3 color range and certified to the HDR True Black 500 standard, and also has a double Rheinland eye protection certificate.
To keep the temperature under control, Lenovo introduced the Extreme Fengshen+ cooling system, 3D composite heat pipe, keyboard cooling duct, and four vortex air ducts for freeze protection on the Xiaoxin Pro 14. Battery life has been improved, with the Xiaoxin Pro 14 now equipped with an 84Wh Big Mac battery, which provides about 25.2 hours of local video playback and approximately 10.38 hours of daily battery life. In terms of connectivity, the device offers a variety of ports, including 2C (with Thunderbolt 4 and 20Gbps support), 2A, HDMI, and an SD card reader.
