Lenovo has launched the Lenovo GeekPro G5000 2024 laptop in China, offering gamers an improved version of last year’s model with some performance improvements. It is powered by an Intel Core i7-13650HX processor that delivers stable performance suitable for gaming and other heavy-duty tasks. In terms of graphics, there is a choice of RTX 4050 or RTX 4060.
The laptop has a 15.6-inch FHD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color gamut for a crisp, vivid image. It also supports Nvidia G-Sync technology that helps reduce screen tearing. For connectivity, it comes with USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 and USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, as well as WiFi 6, providing a wide range of options for connecting to the Internet and external devices.
One of the standout features of the 2024 GeekPro G5000 is its advanced cooling system. Lenovo designed this new system to cool the laptop during intense gaming sessions by reducing keyboard surface temperature and fan noise. This improvement aims to provide a more comfortable and quieter gaming experience.
The laptop is not yet available on the official Lenovo store, but Chinese retailers offer it with an RTX 4050 configuration for CNY6299 (approximately $875) and an RTX 4060 variant for CNY6799 (approximately $944). Global availability details are currently unknown, but it is worth noting that previous GeekPro G5000 laptops were released internationally under the IdeaPad Gaming brand.
